Sea Glass – the finishing

SEA GLASS

Finished “Sea Glass” today.  I quilted it with a pantograph that included seahorses, conch shells, star fish, and fish with bubbles.  The pantograph was a good way to learn to quilt the designs, but I didn’t like losing control of where the designs landed on the quilt.  I am also opposed to the sameness of pantograph  designs; each one being exactly like the other.  I prefer free motion quilting in general, but sometimes new designs (sea creatures) overwhelm me, and I go for the sure thing.

In general I love the colors of this quilt, and the block design. It was created with the Studio 180 Design Diamond Rect tool.  My previous post contained more detail.
